The Carnival Destiny was
the first ship to offer balcony staterooms on a
mainstream product and the first ship to be built that
was over 100,000 tons. It was recently given a
multi-million dollar refurbishment in 2008 and
with fresh styling and looks, this ship is a real
pleasure to experience. The refurbishment included the
addition of Carnival's Seaside Theater on the pool deck,
the "Circle C" area designated specifically for 12-14
year olds and balconies added to 16 of the outside
staterooms. The Destiny offers a variety of
entertainment options from the very popular Piano Bar to
the and state-of-the-art three-deck high Palladium Show
Lounge. Carnival Destiny is a great all around
ship for families as well as singles.
