Carnival Fantasy Cruise Review

Ronald Swain

Itinerary: Bahamas
Sailing Date: March, 2010
Age: 73
Occupation: retired
Number of Cruises: three on Fantasy

On the morning of June 3, 2010 I slipped and fell in the Windows on the Sea restaurant resulting in a severely sprained ankle. I went with a friend to Medical Services. The Doctor to whom I spoke expressed no sympathy or interest in my situation. He did not offer to look at my ankle and did not let me sign a statement of having come for help. He was as unhelpful as anyone could have been. I reported the incident to Customer Service. The only thing they offered was a wheel chair to debark. It is obvious to me that they were doing everything possible to avoid a law suit. At the time I only wanted some medical attention and was not thinking of a law suit. My thinking has changed since I got home.
