The Carnival Imagination is
another of the older Fantasy Class ships. However,
substantially refurbished in 2008 through Carnival's
“Evolutions of Fun” initiative, many modern amenities
were added. Still maintaining its original whimsical
design, the neon glitz has been replaced by red and blue
LED lights. Staterooms and Camp Carnival facilities were
upgraded, a new atrium bar, a children's water park, an
adult's only pool area and 9-hole mini-golf course were
some of the additions. This ship is perfect for the
shorter 3 and 4 night Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries
that have become popular with the U.S. market.
