Number of Cruises: many
This was our first sailing on the Carnival Miracle, as we
are bringing on a large group of first timers in Sept, we
thought it would be a good idea to inspect it first.
We flew in the night before to
Ft Lauderdale, as usual with all our cruises it is best to
arrive the day before. On the day of embarkation we arrived
at the pier about 12:00, waited for a little while (nothing
too bad) and everything went smooth. We were on the ship by
1:00 having our first Fun Ship drink and lunch.
Our first impression of this
ship was that it was so pretty and open, there was never a
feeling of being crowded.
We were able to get in our
rooms within the hour and our luggage arrived about 3:00 so
all in all, great embarkation..
Food: My husband was
not as impressed this time with the dining room choices and
if I am to be honest I had to think about what to order, but
the food that I did get was delicious, always hot and plenty
of it.. Our waiters were very good. Our head waiter seemed
to be a little lost sometimes, but was very friendly, Our
assistant waiter was wonderful, always smiling and when he
finally caught on to my husband's sense of humor he gave as
good as he got, which we really enjoyed...
The shows were good, not the
Vegas style that we had on our first cruise on the Legend,
but enjoyable Well, we must have enjoyed the Beatles review
because we sat through both shows...the comedian was great
and even his adult show was not raunchy and I liked that.
The public areas were nice and
open and everything was spotless. I like that you can walk
around the whole ship outside just like on the Legend.
The staff was awesome....Our
rooms were always clean and the ice bucket kept full. We
were treated to towel animals every night...
We toured camp carnival and
was impressed with the staff and facilities and they allowed
us to take pictures (no children) of the area to bring back
to our group.
Activities were the normal
lido deck stuff we enjoyed the synchronized swimming
competition. The Karaoke lounge was nice and we loved the
Legend's show the last night of the cruise.
All in all, we loved the
Miracle. It is open, clean and well decorated with themed
rooms (Batman, Frankenstein Alice in Wonderland etc.) The
ports we visited were nice with plenty of time in each. We
did not do excursions, but just walked around and enjoyed
and took a bus to a beach for a bit....
We will be sailing a different
itinerary this time in Sept but We will be happy to sail her
again
