The Carnival Spirit, first
of the Spirit Class ships, ushered in innovations such
as an onboard wedding chapel and an alternative
restaurant as part of its original design. The Carnival
Spirit boasts over 80% ocean view staterooms and 80% of
those include balconies. A two-level promenade and
nine-story atrium topped by a red glass dome are the
central focuses of the ship and offer guests a welcome
entrance with polished wood and and glass accents. With
12 lounges and bars, an expansive tiered fitness center,
multiple pools and hot tubs, an active casino and
children's program, there is much to keep passengers of
all ages entertained.
