The Carnival Splendor, one
of the newer ships in the Carnival fleet, is a new class
of vessel for the cruise line. Weighing in at 113,300
tons, with 22 lounges and bars, an elaborate 22,000 sq.
foot spa and fitness center spanning two decks, Seaside
Theater by the main pool, 5,500 sq foot children's area,
nine-hole mini-golf course and three deck high water
slide, there are plenty of options to keep guests of all
ages entertained. The Carnival Splendor sports one of
the newer additions to a Carnival ship, a retractable
glass dome over the mid-ship pool. The Splendor also
introduces a new category of stateroom – 68 spa
staterooms that feature private access to the spa.
