The Musica is a beautiful and huge ship, however, there were times when I needed more space.

The outdoor pool area was always overtaken by passengers who were crammed onto deckchairs so closely placed that there wasn't room to move between. Luckily we had a balcony in our cabin and preferred to sit there. The pool water was far too cold to go in anyway. The cabin was large enough for 2 people and it along with the bathroom was lovely. The staff kept our room very clean and stocked. They were also very personable.

Meal times were a bit hectic as hundreds eagerly converged on the restaurants. There was plenty of staff, however they seemed disinterested in you and their jobs. The food was ok, edible and in sufficient quantities.

The quality of food at the lunch and breakfast buffet could have been of a better standard, but also edible. The best restaurant we ate at was the Japanese restaurant which we paid for. The staff were friendly, hospitable and the food was excellent.

The ship did a great job at organizing passengers to disembark at ports. Logistically this was a great challenge but they did it well. The entertainment was very good and diverse. I thought the casino was an opportunity to get away from kids, however many Italian parents ignored the signs prohibiting entry to under 18 year olds. The staff did nothing to police this rule either. I was amazed to see numerous kids aged under 12 playing poker machines under the supervision of ship staff. Overall I enjoyed the trip but would prefer a boat with a more diverse mixture of nationalities of passengers and fewer passengers.
