I'm guessing this review will never make it into print but i'm going to make the attempt anyway, because people need to know what the Bahama Celebration cruise line is actually selling.

To start the offer of a 2-day cruise for $99.00 is for a cabin with 2 single bunks. Hardly appropriate for a married couple. So, of course I upgraded to a queen size bed. What I got for that upgrade was a piece of plywood across the width of the cabin with a mattress thrown over top of it.  Again, wishing to have a nice cruise with my husband I upgrade again to a cabin with a window. I was specific in saying I wanted more than a porthole. Well, what I got was a 18x24" small window that I had to crawl across the plywood bed to look out of. I woke up both days with a severe back ache, and I usually don't have back problems.

You can't walk around the ship, outdoor space is limited to the front or back of the ship. The Swimming pool is a half moon shaped, approx. 6 feet wide and 12' long. I didn't waste my time...two people in it and it's full.

Food was abundant and adequate. Free drinks of any kind were scarce. Buying drinks containing alcohol was very expensive, between $8.00 and $12.00 per drink...depending on what you're drinking and they were small. Loungers and tables to eat at were scarce. It got to the point that the constant pushing of drinks on deck just appeared shameless.

The prices in the ship store were outrageous. Air Tran lost my luggage so I need toiletries so I had to buy them on the ship, what a shock, a one ounce bottle of shampoo was $3.50 and 3 ounces of baby oil was $7.10.

The shows...hmm, I guess they were okay as long as you only see them once because they do the same acts show after show. The comedians good, avoid the Elvis impersonator. Oh, and there's not enough seating in the shows so get there early or you'll be standing for a few hours.

There's nothing else to do on the ship. Of course, unless you gamble and if you do, be prepared to be in a very small room where the guest are smokers and the exhaust fans are very few.

Do your self a favor and skip this cruise. The most enjoyable part of the cruise was the excitement of finally getting back to palm beach where the cruise was ending.
