The
Norwegian Sky entered NCL's fleet in 1999 as a newbuild
and one of the first "Freestyle" specific ships in the
fleet. When NCL started NCL America, the Sky was granted
the authority to be the one non-U.S. built haul to be
considered for service in Hawaii. After a stint in
Hawaii as the Pride of Aloha, she was retunred to the
fleet as the Norwegian Sky after being completely
refurbished.
