Overview of Deck 15
Deck 15 is all about fun
and there is lots of it.
The Port Flowrider
A big hit on the Freedom
class ships, the Oasis of the Seas features two separate
Flowriders. The portside Flowrider was using a Boogie
Board.

The Starboard Flowrider
The starboard Flowrider was
using the stand up "surf boards". While these have little to
do with actual surfing, the kids enjoying them were have a
complete blast.

The Wipeout Bar
Between the two Flowriders
resides the Wipeout Bar. This was open whenever the
Flowriders were operating. There are also separate sitting
areas to watch the action on the Flowriders for parents and
others interested in the activities.

Ziplining on the Oasis of
the Seas
Surfing on a ship is one
thing, but how about zip lining? Of course, the Oasis offers
everyone the opportunity to try zip lining for their first
time.

Adorning the Zip Line
Harness.
Zip liners strap on their
harness and then glide over the Boardwalk several decks
below.

Ziplining
This will get you ready for
a real zip line adventure if you choose to do one in the
port.

Landing After Ziplining
Zipliners land in the zone
on the port side of the ship after gliding hundreds of feet
dangling in the air.

Oasis Dunes Golf Course
Of course what would a
cruise be without a 9-hole golf course? The Oasis Dunes is a
fun miniature golf course that the whole family can enjoy.

The Oasis Dunes Mascot
Look for the Oasis Dunes
mascot while playing a round of golf.

The Full Sized Sports Court
The Oasis also features a
full sized basketball / sports court. This was always in use
during our cruise and was very popular with the kids.

Table Tennis Anyone?
The table tennis areas on
most cruises always seems like an after thought. It seems
like you are always chasing balls that the wind picks up all
over the ship.

More Table Tennis
Opportunties
On the Oasis of the Seas
the table tennis areas are enclosed by plastic enclosures so
that there is now no more chasing ping pong balls. This is a
huge improvement for those liking to play the game.

The Wipe Out Cafe
Forward of the table tennis
area is the teen zone. This place is really COOL! It starts
with the teen only dining venue known as the Wipe Out Cafe.

The Wipe Out Cafe Interior
This venue is for teens
only and the truth is that teens could spend their entire
cruise right here on the aft part of deck 15.

The Living Room
Teens have their own lounge
known as The Living Room. Is this place cool or what?

The Back Deck
Outside of the Living Room
is The Back Deck. This is an outdoor area just for teens.
The youth rooms are one deck below deck 15 and for security
reasons I did not shoot them, but I can tell you that the
children's programs on the Oasis of the Seas is sim0ply
fantastic and very much in line with the teen's program. It
is just wonderful!

Breeze Logo Shop
Located just forward of the
Wipe Out Cafe on the starboard side of the ship is the
Breeze Logo Shop. This shop offers tons of stuff with the
Oasis of the Seas logo on it.

The H2O Zone and Viking
Crown Lounge
Entering the main pool
areas, the H2O Zone is one the starboard side. This is a
children's only pool and it would be difficult to see why
any child would want to go anywhere else. There are even
small sized lounge chairs for the kids.

The Sports Pool
Adjacent toH2O Zone on the
portside of the Oasis is the Sports Pool. This pool is
dedicated to those that want to have some onboard pool
activity. The pool is available for those that want to swim
laps in the morning and then offers pool games such as
volley ball, badminton, water polo and such throughout the
day. The sound system at the Sports Pool dampens the
announcement noise from reaching other areas on the pool
deck.

The Pool Bar
Located in the center of
the pool area on the port side, the Pool Bar serves the
entire pool area.

The Sand Bar
The Sand Bar resides on the
Starboard side and also serves the entire pool area.

The Main Pool
The Main Pool is designed
with adults in mind and offers a tranquil place to enjoy the
sun while cooling off in the refreshing pool water.

The Beach Pool
This is a really cool pool.
The water overflows the actual pool and runs up underneath
the lounge chairs. The rocking of the ship makes the flow of
the water seem like you are on a beach.

The Beach Pool
If you are having hot
weather, this is the pool to head to.

The Cantilevered Jacuzzi
On both sides of deck 15
one finds Jacuzzis that are cantilevered 136 feet above the
ocean. These are great places to relax while enjoying the
tremendous views.

Entrance to the Solarium
Deck 15 is the main
Solarium deck and one comes to the entrance just past the
Jacuzzis.

The Solarium Bistro
The Solarium Bistro offers
health conscious cuisine during the day and turns into a
starlit alternative restaurant in the evening serving dinner
and dancing.

The Solarium Buffet
Breakfast and lunch is
served buffet style and features wonderful and healthy
salads, fruit and other healthy dishes.

The Solarium Pool
The center piece of the
Solarium is the pool. This is a great place in inclement
weather, as the sun always seems to shine through into the
Solarium while the wind, rain and other elements are
blocked.

One of the Jacuzzis in the
Solarium
There are also two Jacuzzis
in the Solarium to enjoy. They were never crowded while I
was in there and were also very enjoyable. It is easy to see
why the Solarium is the choice for many people that want to
relax their day away.

Lounges for Two
Everyone enjoyed the
canopied lounges for two that are all the way forward in the
Solarium. Very cool!
