The Entrance to the
Windjammer Marketplace
This is no ordinary
Windjammer. Like everything of the Oasis, Royal Caribbean
put a lot of thought into setting up the Windjammer and it
works perfectly.

The Windjammer Dining Area
First, it is easy to find a
table, as they are located around the outside of the buffet
areas. There are tables to accommodate everything from
singles to large groups and the ingress and egress is quite
accessible.

One of the Windjammer
Buffet Stations
The buffet stations are
clearly marked and designed for access. Each of the four
sides offers food of the same genre making it easy to select
your overall cuisine.

The Specialty Food Venue
If one wants a specialty
dish (eggs, omelets, etc.) there is a special venue for
ordering them. You are assigned a number and your number is
called when your dish is ready.

Breakfast Station
I found that the food in
the Windjammer very much to my liking. There was always an
Asian specialty kiosk, a wonderful salad bar and lots of
vegetables. Excellent!

Izumi Asian Cuisine
Right outside of the
Windjammer Marketplace on the port side is the Izumi Asian
Cuisine.

The Izumi Asian Cuisine
Izumi is an authentic
Japanese restaurant offering sushi and signature "cook at
your table" dishes. This is an alternative restaurant and
requires reservations and a service fee.

H2O Zone
Leaving Windjammer on the
starboard side, one sees the kid's H2O Zone. This is a
children's only pool area that kids love. The round pool
that looks like a Jacuzzi on the left is actually a river
pool that circulates the water around the center. Kids were
having a blast in this thing. Fountains, waterfalls and
pools are the norm in H2O Zone.

The Sky Bar
Twp separate bars make up
the bridge that crosses deck 15. The Sky Bar and the Mast
Bar serve the entire sun area on deck 16.

The Sports Pool and Jacuzzi
On the portside forward
from the Windjammer is the Sports Pool area.

H2O Zone and Sports Pools
and the Viking Crown Lounge
Looking aft from the bridge
one can see the H2O Zone, the Sports Pool, the Viking Crown
Lounge and Windjammer Marketplace, as well as the aft part
of Central Park.

The Main and Beach Pools
and Central Park
Looking forward from the
bridge one can see the Main and Beach pool areas and Central
Park several decks below. This is when one starts to get an
idea of just how large the Oasis of the Seas actually is.

The Beach Pool
Both the Beach Pool and
Main pools are for adults. The Beach pool is unique in taht
the water overflows the pool's edge up onto the "beach"
where the lounge chairs are.

The Women's Restroom Door
The Oasis of the Seas has
made it pretty easy to tell which is the men's restroom and
which is the ladies.

Looking Down at the Atrium
From Deck 16
Leaving deck 16's sun area
that is lined with lounge chairs and entering the forward
elevator bank, one should take a moment to take in the view
looking down the atrium shaft. This is one huge ship!

The Entrance to the
Solarium Bar
Just past the elevators is
the entrance to the upper deck of the Solarium.

An Overview of the Solarium
from the 16th deck
The Solarium is a large
enclosed area enjoying ample sunshine while protected from
the wind. One can take the staircase down to deck 15 to
enjoy the pool or Jacuzzis.

The Solarium Bar
The Solarium features its
won bar that serves the entire Solarium area. The views are
wonderful from here.

The Solarium Lounge Chairs
In addition to the bar
area, there are some lounge chairs set up for enjoying the
ample sunshine. Completely protected from the elements, this
would be a great place to enjoy cool or windy days at sea.
