The Royal Promenade
Deck 5 is all about the
Royal Promenade. This is the very epicenter of the Oasis of
the Seas and represents everything that is cool about her.

The Entrance to the Opus
Restaurant on Deck 5
The Oasis of the
Sea's main dining venue is called the Opus Restaurant. This
three story restaurant is huge, but the way it is designed
it seems quite intimate.

The Opus Dining Room
We dined here just one
evening and had a wonderful meal. One could sail on the
Oasis and dine here every night and have a wonderful cruise.
But, the Oasis of the Sea's alternative restaurants are so
attractive, I suspect that most people will find a balance
that will fit their desires.

The Opus Restaurant
While the tables are
sectioned off to be intimate, one can't help but marvel at
the scope of the restaurant.

Entering the Royal
Promenade
Leaving the Opus Restaurant
on deck 5 one comes to the main entrance to the Royal
Promenade. Since the Oasis of the Seas is some 60 feet wider
than the Freedom Class ships, this is where you can really
see the difference.

The Champagne Bar
The Champagne Bar resides
just to your right as you enter the Royal Promenade.

The Champagne Bar
While this bar specializes
in serving champagne, it also has a full list of wines and
other cocktails so that it can serve everyone.

Regalia
After a sip of the bubbly
at the Champagne Bar, why not go across the Royal Promenade
to Regalia and pick out a nice bauble?

The Regalia Interior
I am sure that you can find
just the right thing here.

The Oasis of the Seas Guest
Relations Desk
One of the wonderful things
about the Oasis was that because of the technology available
in each cabin, one didn't see lines of people at the Guest
Relations Desk. Normally, you would expect to see long lines
on a ship this large, but there were none. Guest Relations
is just past Regalia on the port side of the ship.

The Rising Tide Bar Water
Feature
One doesn't expect to see a
water feature in the center of the Royal Promenade, but here
it is. As the Rising Tide Bar travels between deck5 and deck
8, it is supported by a beautiful and powerful water
feature.

The Rising Tide Bar Landing
in the Royal Promenade
As the bar nears its place
on deck 5, the fountains become smaller and smaller. All in
all, it is truly a fascinating concept.

The Rising Tide Bar on Deck
5
Once settled onto deck 5,
passengers can finish their libation and continue on their
way or just relax and wait for the tide to rise again. Very
cool!

Cafe Promenade
Cafe Promenade is a dining
venue where one can grab a quick bit to eat. Sandwiches and
such are available throughout the day.

Entrance to Willow
Across from the Cafe
Promenade resides Willow.

The Interior of Willow
Willow features accessories
and also gives a portion of its sales to non-profit
charities around the world through its fashion give back
program.

Focus
Focus is a great idea! How
many times did you need photographic equipment while on a
cruise?

The Interior of Focus
Focus is a full on
photography store and offers tons of accessories, as well as
new digital and traditional equipment.

The Cupcake Cupboard
Not overlooking the current
gourmet cupcake trend throughout the U.S., the Oasis has its
own cupcake shop. While there is a charge for the tasty
treats, I never walked by without seeing a line of people
waiting to buy them.

The Globe and Atlas Pub
Step into the Globe and
Atlas Pub and you may as well be stepping into a pub in
England.

The Globe and Atlas Pub
Interior
Offering entertainment in
the evening, the Globe and Atlas Pub is an excellent place
to enjoy an after-dinner beverage and listen to some music.

Sorrento's
Across from the Globe and
Atlas Pub is Sorrento's.

Sorrento's
Sorrento's is the pizzeria
on the Oasis of the Seas. It is open all day and into the
evening for those that need a slice of pizza or other
treats.

The Port Merchant
The Promenade has numerous
shops and boutiques that offer a variety of products of
interest to passengers.

Port Merchant Interior
As you can see, there is
lack of opportunity for shopping and everything in Port
Merchants is duty free.

Solera
Ladies will love Solera.

Solera Interior
Solera offers an abundance
of fragrances, cosmetics, skincare items and other treats.

The Shop
The Shop is the general
store on the Oasis of the Seas. It offers logo items,
toiletries and just about everything else you could want if
you forgot to pack something.

The Shop's Interior
There is an abundant amount
fo items to shop here and many will go on sale throughout
your cruise.

Prince and Greene
Prince and Greene resides
across the Promenade from the other shops.

Prince and Greene Interior
Prince and Greene offers
fashion items and accessories and several designer brands.

Boleros
Boleros is the signature
Latin nightclub that became popular on the Voyager and
Freedom class ships.

Boleros
Boleros features salsa
dancing and Latin music. Enjoy a mojito and dance the night
away.

The Mondo Coffee Bar
The Mondo Coffee Bar sits
right in the center of the Promenade and serves up specialty
coffee drinks and pastries all day long.

On Air
On Air started out as a
dedicated karaoke club on the Freedom class ships, but this
On Air is spectacular. Beside Karaoke, it offers several
large screen T.V. with news, sports, cartoons and so on.
There are even Nintendo and Wii stations available.

On Air's Interior
With its own bar, On Air is
sure to be a very popular place.

The Opal Theater
Forward of the forward
elevator bank at the end of the Royal Promenade is the top
level of the Opal Theater. This state-of-the-art theater is
excellent. The two shows performed were "Hairspray" and
"Come Fly With Me". Both shows got rave reviews.
