Dazzles
The aft section of deck 8
is all passenger cabins but one finds the entrance to the
lower level of Dazzles by the aft elevators. Dazzles plays
all types of live music and overlooks Boardwalk from its two
story floor to ceiling glass window.

Dazzles is Intimate
Dazzles offers an elegant,
yet intimate environment that everyone is sure to enjoy.
While on early series of Royal Caribbean's fleet Dazzles was
considered the "disco" this venue is a notch well above.

Welcome to Central Park
At first, one doesn't
really see how cool Central Park is. It isn't huge like
Central Park in New York. There are no ponds with ducks, no
police on horseback or wide walkways. But then, you realize
that you are on a ship in the middle of the ocean 8 decks
above the sea and it is just like you are in a park
somewhere. Living plants are everywhere and it smells, looks
and feels like you are in the middle of nature. How in the
world did they create this? We found Central Park very much
to our liking and loved the restaurants and bars found
there.

Chops Grille
Chops Grille is found on
many of Royal Caribbean's ships as one of the alternative
restaurants. We were lucky to dine at Chops on our first
night and sim-ly loved the experience.

Chops Grille Interior
While Chops Grille is known
as a steak and chop venue, I enjoyed the encrusted halibut,
which was simply excellent. You should definitely plan on
dining at Chops Grille at least one night of your cruise.

The Rising Tide Bar
Deck 8 is the resting place
of the Rising Tide Bar, which travels between deck 5 and
deck 8. One can join the bar on deck 5 and enjoy a cocktail
while the tide rises the bar to deck 8 before you go to
dinner at one of the restaurants found here.

150 Central Park
150 Central Park is an
experience in fine dining. Everything from fine china,
original pieces of art and a world famous chef make 150
Central Park a very special experience.

!50 Central Park Interior
This would be the best
venue for special occasions such as an anniversary,
engagement or other memorable event. The menu included
original dishes of chef Keriann Von Raesfeld, the first
woman and American to win the Hans Bueschkens Memorial
trophy and also win the title of the "Best Young Cook in the
World".

The Trellis Bar
This was a very popular
spot during the daytime and also in the early evening. While
we didn't enjoy it on our short time on the cruise, many
people did.

The Central Park Living
Wall
The Living Walls in Central
Park are simply amazing. It is difficult to believe that you
are on a ship when 5 stories of flowering vines adorn the
wall between the cabins. This is truly beautiful.

The Park Cafe
The Park Cafe was always
busy.

The Park Cafe Interior
A great spot to catch
something lite to eat or a sandwich at lunch, the Park Cafe
will satisfy your needs.

The Park Cafe Sandwich Bar
The sandwiches are
wonderful and there is a wide variety of selections.

Giovanni's Table
Everyone loves Italian food
and dining at Giovanni's Table will satisfy everyone's
palate.

Giovanni's Table Interior
While we didn't dine here,
we heard great things about it. Kids will love this place
because it is family style pizza and I understand that they
will let kids try to make their own pizza shell if they
would like.

Picture This Portrait
Studio
This is just one of the
studios that passengers can utilize to take family portraits
and other photographs. All in all, it is a great idea.

The Parkside Gallery
Now this makes sense.
Rather than having to endure art auctions to find art, the
Parkside Gallery offers lots of artwork for sale at fixed
prices. Royal Caribbean has reproduced much of the artwork
that has been created for its history and this is available
for purchase here.

The Parkside Gallery
Interior
You will find art in all
sizes and shapes and there will undoubtedly be something
that you can't go home without. The Oasis of the Seas
features some 9,300 pieces of art on display throughout the
ship. Just forward and on the port side of Central Park is a
concentration of the artwork. The Oasis will offer two daily
tours of the artwork for passengers on regular sailings.

More Parkside Gallery Art
There is lots of cruise and
destination art and I found it reasonably priced. There was
a reproduction of a picture of the Oasis of the Seas that I
almost purchased it was so cool.

The Coach Boutique
One of the interesting
things to me was the amount of smaller shops on board the
Oasis of the Seas.

The Coach Boutique Interior
I suspect that some ladies
will find this boutique irresistible. They offer a full line
of Coach handbags and much more.

Vintages
Like wine? You will LOVE
Vintages. While Vintages is on the Freedom class ships, it
is located on the Promenade. This venue is private, intimate
and gives on the feeling of being in Napa at a winery.
Joanie and I loved it.

Vintages Interior
In addition to a wide
selction of wines, Vintages also has tapas available. Since
on of our favorite things to do on Earth is to sit in Tapas
bars in Barcelona and drink wine, this was perfect for us.
One evening we sat outside and had tapas for dinner along
with wine. The tapas were of high quality and included
shrimp, scallops and the like. Excellent. We wouldn't get
much further than Vintages on a seven day cruise.

Central Park at Night
Don't miss enjoying Central
Park. It is one of the highlights of the Oasis of the
Seas...but there is more.
